Here at First Christian Church, we listen to the important commandments of Jesus Christ. We take seriously how best to “Worship God with everything we have” and to Engage in “Loving Our Neighbors”. To make sure we have everything covered, we also encourage one another to “Go and Make Disciples” as Jesus taught us to do.
To accomplish these three actions, we support people to use their individual God-given talents within the larger fellowship known as First Christian. We challenge people to Engage in as many church activities, worship, and ministry offerings as they feel comfortable doing.
· If you sing or play an instrument – come join the adult choir or the Revelation Praise Team.
· Want to help serve those in need? Bring food items for the Blessing Box, package meals for the Jasper County Hunger Relief, or weave mats for people without shelter here at our facilities.
· Want to praise God in unique ways? Join the Puppet Ministry.
· Want to learn more about God and Jesus Christ? Join an existing Bible study or create your own small group.
· Do you love to teach people about Jesus? Volunteer to help others with the Wednesday night Family Unity Night youth education ministry.
· If you feel the need to Engage the Holy Spirit – come and worship with us on Sunday mornings!
